Man’s role – Guilty or not guilty?
We often read that climatologist are in complete agreement that global warming is largely caused by human activity. However, many geologists, palaeontologists, and other researchers dispute this. Of course, this should not be trivialized, but we have seen that there have been much warmer periods in the geological history of our planet: even in the last 10,000 years, there was a period when the average annual temperature was a few degrees higher than today, at a time when human activity cannot be considered significant.
